First GAVI Partners’ Meeting, Noordwijk, The Netherlands, 20-21 November 2000

More than 300 public health experts and officials from developing and developed countries met in Noordwijk in late November for the first GAVI Partners’ Meeting. The biennial meeting offered an opportunity for representatives of the various GAVI constituencies—multinational organizations, bilateral agencies, NGOs, government health programmes, research institutes, and the pharmaceutical industry—to learn more about the alliance, its goals, and how more people can play a role in its development.
