3rd GAVI Partners' Meeting, New Delhi, India
7-9 December 2005, Taj Palace Hotel
GAVI will convene the 3rd GAVI Partners’ meeting in
New Delhi this December, co-hosted by the Government of India.
The GAVI Secretariat is working with the PATH India office to help
organize the meeting.
Past GAVI Partners’ Meetings have provided a
collaborative forum for Alliance members to discuss a topics critical
to GAVI’s success. Partner engagement has proved instrumental to GAVI’s
historic mission. To build upon past accomplishments and guarantee
future success, partner feed back is now more crucial than ever before.
This meeting comes at a pivotal moment for the GAVI
Alliance and the future of global immunization. With unparalleled donor
support through traditional funding and innovative mechanisms such as
the IFFIm, the Alliance must make certain that these commitments are
met with progress. The Partners’ Meeting will also mark the launch of
GAVI Phase 2, which will combine the past best practices with original
programmes geared to strengthen health systems and reach more children
with vaccines.
We look forward to welcoming the GAVI Partners in New Delhi.
