One of the three under-used vaccines which is being made available to the poorest countries through GAVI and the Vaccine Fund (HebB, Hib and Yellow Fever). Yellow Fever is a mosquito-borne viral haemorrhagic fever which occurs in tropical regions of Africa and in the Americas – often in explosive epidemics involving heavy loss of life.
